Resumen


La prueba de tolerancia a la aspirina de Quick, utilizando el tiempo de Duke, proporciona valores preaspirina entre 1 y 4 minutos y posaspirina entre 1,5 y 7 minutos. Se discute la prueba en relación con la técnica de Ivy y sus modificaciones, basadas en el uso de dispositivos mecánicos que efectúan incisiones en lugar de punciones, aportando evidencias que la técnica de Duke, debido a su gran reproducibilidad, proporciona una destacable seguridad operacional.
