Quiste de glándula anal. Presentación como trombosis hemorroidal externa.

Resumen


Se comunica un caso de quiste de glándula anal que se presenta como una trombosis hemorroidal externa y se hace una revisión bibliográfica del tema. Nuestro paciente se presentó con un tumor blando redondeado y doloroso en margen anal de treinta días de evolución. En el examen visual del ano se veía como una tumoración de unos 3 cm de diámetro tapizada por la piel del margen, duro elástico al tacto y ligeramente doloroso. Al paciente se le realizó anestesia raquídea y luego se resecó la lesión comprobando su prolongación hasta la mucosa de la línea pectínea sin llegar a comunicarse con ella. El paciente evolucionó favorablemente con pocos días de recuperación postoperatoria. La anatomía patológica demostró que era un quiste de glándula anal típica.  El diagnóstico de un quiste de glándula anal es histológico y debería considerarse en toda lesión del margen anal que se asemeje a una hemorroide trombosada.
